what a vacation!!! i loved every second of it! even the airplane rides! except for the ones comin home... thats never fun.. :)
man it was a blast! it was me and mikes first vacation together and our first vacation as a big family with dan and ash and kar and alex.
so much happened! but im going to list everything down according to what i put in my phones memo list... its kinda interesting...

HP for six hours (thats the lego video game me and mike played for six hours the night before our plane left :)

cream cheese with a little bagel (at the air port about literally a cup of cream cheese on a toasted bagel... after scooping most of it off it was actually a really good bagel.

year of firsts already

well 2012 is off to an amazing start...

i got my first new years eve kiss... not to bad..... :)

then me and mike decided that since we really havent had a relaxing weekend for awhile, we went to the anniversary inn in slc. it was so fun! we didnt do anything but watch tv! loved it! we headed down to slc to drop mikayla off since we had her for new years eve (we ended up doing our poppers at like 10 since she was falling asleep ha it was fun though!)

we used a few of the gift cards we still had from our wedding.

ate at macaroni grill (yum)

went and saw a movie

checked into the hayloft at the anniversary inn (super cute)

it was just a nice little get away and a great way to start off the new year.... :)

more weddins......

well dan dan and salmon sweater ( aka ashley case) finally tied the knot! couldnt handle me having any more attention! (ps dan asked ashley to marry him on my bridal shower... just sayin...)

anyways this post is for them... they asked me to do some of their engagements and some pictures at the wedding.. so really this post is just going to be about my awesome photographer abilities!

this was also my first chance to attend a temple sealing, besides my own. this one was easier for me to comprehend all the intense amazingness of a temple sealing. (this time my head wasnt in complete overload so that makes it easier :)) i sure love my mikey and the amazing husband he is. he never stops amazing me. i cant believe how lucky i am to have found him! and yes hes a pretty dang lucky guy himself... just sayin... ;)

heres to 2011

after actually achieving some of my resolutions this year ive decided to show off some of the things i actually did!
-get a house - DONE! Feb 28
-get my toes fixed (that's bad one) - nope co worker had hers done and it went bad! ill live with the pain!
-have fun - oh boy did i do that!
-be a better friend - im sure trying!
-get mine and dans scrapbook finished - ha no! i still have to do my high school and now a wedding one, but i did get to pass dans to his new wife whoot!
-meet new people - met a huge new group of people/family now ;)
-get in touch with old friends - eh......

-get a guy to ask me out instead of me asking them out - not only did he ask me out.... he asked me to marry him :)

-play just dance at least once a week - ha nope! but we did get the kinect and we try to play it once a week

-go to more raptor baseball games - didnt go to one.. :(

-go somewhere new - Peoa...:), Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina on the Road Trip!

-go on an unique ghost tour - almost did... had to give the tickets to mom and aunt patty instead... heard it was cool though

-study the scriptures a little better - did good for a while... need to get alot better!

-actually do a fast sunday - :(

-bare my testimony in public - had to do a talk in the singles ward... done did counted

-go to more weber state games - none... :(

-get over "him" - oh i sure did that!

-try paint ball - nope... but mikey says he will definatly take me next year!

-try ten new things
-got married!

-went through the temple!
-rode a motorcycle
-went ice skating

-did a cross country road trip!
-stayed at a b&b with my hubby :)

-got to attend a temple wedding (Dan & Ash)

well heres to more resolutions in 2012! cannot wait to see all that comes!

thanksgiving, birthday, and life

holy cow i cannot believe it is the middle of december!
the last few months have literally flown by!
thanksgiving came and went! i got to have two thanksgiving dinners! one with mikes family and one with my fam... both were sooo good...... so i had to eat alooooooooot! i was so sick! mike had to work thanksgiving night from 7 pm to 10 am the next morning for the crazy black fridayness. it wasnt to bad without him... it did take me awhile to actually fall asleep though. but the next morning i finally was able to have a day off so i painted mikaylas room that we have for her!

then before i knew it, it was my birthday, the weekend before we went down to st george, i had a slow pitch tourney. on the way down it was a blizzard from scipio to hurricane. it took us two hours longer to get down there! we left at 4 and didnt get to our hotel room till 11! we were so tired! on the way down mikey could handle waiting to give me my bday present so i had to crawl into the back of the car to grab them. he gave me those crystal cubes that had the bountiful temple lasered into it. and he also gave me the big christus marble statute. i loved them. i ended up playing 6 games on saturday and 1 sunday morning.. it was freezing! our first game was at 9 am our last one at 11 pm they were spread out enough we were able to eat.. take a nap and eat some more. mikey was a trooper! the last few games it was so cold i made him come into the dugout with all the blankets so when i came out from the field i snuggled right next to him to keep warm. he even would put his hand inside my glove to keep it warm. :) sunday morning i hurt. i got hit with a line drive on my fore arm while standing on third... i dove right after that and bruised my elbow.. my hammys hurt.... my body hurt. so when sunday came around i hurt. i did not want to play. it was colder in st geezy than in slc that morning. thank heavens we lost so we immediately started heading home. on the way mike wanted to take me to dinner for the bday. i choose the old spaghetti factory. my favorite. it was nice. ive never had a bf needless to say a husband on my birthday but it was one of my favorites so far :)

i also got the justin beiber mistletoe cd (love it) from kar, and mom and dad got me some house decor and mom also paid for my hair to be did :)

life is great. things have been sooo crazy though! me and mikey were talking about how since even before we were married we really have only had one relaxing normal weekend. and the end doesnt seem in sight. next week dan and ash are getting married, the week after that is christmas, then new years, then two weeks after that mom and dad are taking all of us to universal studios orlando!! we are soooo excited!

life is crazy but so incredibly amawzing.

Ultimate Cross Country Road Trip 2011!

Holy cow what an adventure!
Mikes cousin John and his wife had to move to North Carolina from California. They asked us to join them and their two big huge dogs and its was so fun!
Here are some facts about the road trip
FACTS:
-We drove 2,207 miles
-Mike drove the u-haul the entire way!
-U-haul had a trailer with a car on it
-A totally of 36 hours of drive time
-Four days of driving
-Went up a plethora of hills, only going 35 mph...... yay
-Went through Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina (Six new states for me!)
-Stayed at an amawzing b&b!

- I slept for a good 15 hours of the drive... :)
-Me and Mike drove almost the entire way... lets just say i sure like that guy :) and it does say alot that i still like him after being with him in a u-haul for that long!
-We bought walkie talkies to communicate with John and Sarah
-Read about 500 riddle/laffy taffy jokes
-Got an App for my phone to find license plates. Missing : Conn, Del, DC, ND, Ohio, Penn, RI, SD, Vermont, WV
-Another App, let us play car bingo and the best app was a bunch of different find games.
Finding gas stations, transportation, car makes, and the best one was just a random assortment of things ei a pink car, a cat in car, fuzzy dice, a mattress on the roof funny stuff like that! it sure made things go by faster!
-Got to have some serious talking time with mikey. just telling each other stories pretty much just whatever came up is what we talked about
-Played truth or dare... but pretty much truth ;)
-Visited the St Louis arch in the dark (WILL GO BACK! Gotta see my Cards play anyways!)
-Almost rolled the u-haul into the Missouri river
-Went to the Country Music Hall of Fame
-Drove around for a good hour trying to park the u-haul
-Had to fill up the u-haul every 250 or so miles at $100 bucks a fill up... (good thing we werent payin.......)

-Flew from Charlotte NC, to Denver, Co to SLC

-Didnt sit by mike the first two flights (did however get to sit in between a large man who literally snored the ENTIRE flight (the longest flight we had of course) and a guy who just so irritated by the snoreman and he just cursed under his breath and threw a tissy fit)

-Got super flying sick with all the turbulence... not cool

-Had an amazingly great time! Check one off the bucket list!!
